What is Graviola?
Graviola Soursop fruit, with its sweet and unique flavor, is grown commercially to make healthy juice, sweet candy, sorbet and ice cream. It originates from a tree in the downpour woodlands of Africa, South America, and Southeast Asia. As per Binomial Nomenclature, its name is Annona muricata. It is otherwise called custard apple, cherimoya, guanabana, soursop, Brazilian paw, shareefa etc.
Graviola and Cancer:
As many researches suggest that extracts from the fruit can cure Cancer effectively. Even thousand of internet sources suggests so. However, a few expert says that Graviola shouldn’t be utilized to cure Cancer. Well, the primary question which arises here is for real the Soursop cures the malignant Cancer? Let’s find out.
A study published in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry in 1997 suggests that Graviola’s active ingredient called annonaceous acetogenins which were tested on breast cancer cells in culture were more effective than chemotherapy in destroying the cells. However, it never went on a proper clinical trial, big Pharma doesn’t want to loose money for sure or ….?
Some health pro says that Soursop is somewhat related to neurotoxicity, but yet again no clinical trials ever. Even though many types of research proved that Soursop can actually kill the Cancer way better than Chemo. And yes, the side effects, I don’t think so that it will have more side effects than the Chemotherapy.
